I was coming through town late in the evening, so made a last minute reservation on my way there and I'm soooo glad I choose here!! Check-in was super easy. The room was super clean, comfy and honestly home-y! Bed was soft and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!! THANK YOU for a great nights sleep and great stay!!
Joan was very welcoming. The rooms are newly remodel and look fantastic, VERY clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door was delicious and the service was great! Great experience all around. Book it, you won't be disappointed.
What a lovely surprise. The rooms are beautifully redone, ultra clean and a wonderful testament to caring management. Gateway to the Sierra Madre, this place is a great haven and jumping off point. Come home to comfort and small touches like great coffee, popcorn, mini fridge, micro, and a good hot shower. It's beautiful inside. Please stay. And thanks to our wonderful host.

I rolled into town late on a motorcycle trip and needed a room and a shower. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the motel. I was wrong. What a great little motel! The manager was awesome. The room was updated and modern with a super comfy bed. The restaurant next door was good. Perfect place to stay if you are starting or finishing up the COBDR! Even give BDR riders a little discount! Highly recommend this little gem in the middle of nowhere.
Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I had seen the ratings were high for this location and my rating for this location would be just about perfect. I was informed that there had been a complete renovation of the property and it is beautifully evident. Everything in my room looks absolutely brand new and finished to a very high-level. From the furniture to linens to lighting, air conditioning and heating television, everything is like it just came out of the box. It is an older style hotel with exterior door entrances at ground level, it’s a very quiet town, where you don’t feel concerned about your safety, or your vehicle. I don’t do a lot of reviews on hotels that I stay in, but felt that this near perfect room in a completely off the beaten path, location of Encampment Wyoming fully deserved a perfect review.
Beautiful rooms. All newly renovated. Spacious bathroom with a tub/shower combo! Mini fridge with freezer and coffee maker. Joan in the front office was absolutely incredible to work with. When calling ahead, she was more than happy to accommodate our late arrival. She even left us a sweet note in our room! 10 out of 10 would stay here again! What an incredible find!
I wish that Joan, the lady running the front desk, managed a bigger place and more of them! I’d stay at them anywhere! She remembered I had a service dog, even though I forgot to mention it. The place is super clean, the beds are really comfortable, and it even smells good! I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this place puts them to shame. Had the choice between here and Saratoga, and I’m so glad my coworker mentioned the Pine Lodge. Whenever I’m in the area, this is where I’ll stay! 100% recommend!!
